Darling little Frangelica is one of the 75 Persian and Himalayans in crisis.
Being an eleven year old, she is actually NOT one of the oldest, but definitely one of the most fragile cats in the group. Although Franny has a healthy appetite, she is extremely thin.
We are worried about her kidneys and or heart. If she is having issues with her kidneys we want to make sure she is on the right food. If she has issues with her heart, there is a possibility that medication can really improve the quality of her life and could even prolong her life by many years.
The cost of the sonogram is around $180 and echocardiogram is $350. In the mean time we will be taking Franny to our fantastic vet, Dr. Metzler, to find out what she recommends we do for her at this
time.
We are hoping to find some kind people who will step up and help sponsor the vet care for this sweet little wisp of a kitty. Any amount to go towards her care is greatly appreciated.
She is sooo sweet. Franny snuggles with her foster Mom at night and follows her around like a little puppy dog during the evenings. She is quite the little purr machine too. She's the kind of kitty that you just want to slip into your pocket and keep her with you all the time.
