Hello. My name is Nathaniel though my special friends call me Nate. I was given an elegant name because I am such an elegant kitty. I am classic Seal Point Bi-Color Ragdoll with beautiful, silky, trouble free fur, all the right lines, and gorgeous blue eyes. I am smart smart smart. And curious, and loving and playful. I like to figure out what is happening in life. You can feel me thinking I love to be admired and petted everywhere except my tail which I am a little sensitive about right now.
I love humans and come right up to strangers so they can admire and pet me. I will rub against your legs and make your acquaintance. You can pick me up to cuddle me but I don't want to be held a long time especially if I don't know you well. I would rather lie beside you and snuggle. I have my respect and need some independence. But I love you funny human creatures. I never tire of watching you.
I come from Michigan where I lived with my first family. I won't say much about that experience except that they declawed me there and I ended up in a shelter. Yuck!! A nice california family of Ragdoll lovers saw my picture and flew me out here to live with them. Unfortunately the 2 year old in that family and I didn't get along. And I didn't much like their other kitties either. So here I am without a home of my own.
I have had a mixed up time of it in my short life (2 to 4 years) and I hope the third time is the charm for me. I want a Ragdoll loving home, solid & stable. No young children thank you very much. Actually I would probably like to be the only cat and get all the attention. TV's are OK. If there's room on the couch for me.
I will eat anything. Keep you constantly amused. Soothe you with my beauty. Use my litter box perfectly (I have no problems with that.) Come visit me at my new foster resort, The Kitty Hill Resort for Cats in Santa Cruz. I have a room there with a west facing window for all the sun and - can you believe it? - a catwalk under the ceiling where I can stroll and show off my outrageous beauty. (My foster mom, Harriet, made me say that - I am not into boasting - though I could.......)
