Smooshy came to rescue with her sister, Bella Bru. They were both purchased from a breeder and were taken to a shelter when their owner developed severe allergies.
Smooshy is a pistol! She definitely knows how to get you laughing. She is a petite thing about 5lbs. but her spunky personality is quite large!
She loves to play, goes absolutely nuts for the laser pointer. She will throw herself at the wall trying to catch that little red dot and she does not give up. Full of determination. And when you get tired she will entertain herself batting around mice, chasing balls, tearing up catnip pillows, leaping at bugs.
Although playing is her main priority snuggling isn't far behind. She will flop in front of you and request belly rubs. And she likes to snuggle next to you in bed. And when you are gone too long she will be waiting at the door to greet you when you return chatting telling you all about her day of play.
She can be a little terror with other kitties besides her sister...so if not adopted with Bella Bru she would do best as an only cat. They are not terribly bonded that they have to be adopted together I think that Smooshy just tolerates Bella Bru since they have grown up together.
Right now she is growing out a lion cut but she will have a thick full coat soon. And yes that is a snaggle tooth that you see in the picture...it just adds to her character. When she isn't squinting she has beautiful dark copper eyes, they truly are gorgeous.
