ANGEL
6-8 month old Female Ruddy Abyssinian

January 10 Update: Angel is doing very well and will probably be ready to be posted to the adoptable page and find her forever home within a couple of weeks. She now weighs over 6lbs, her diarrhea problems are mostly behind her and she is still her friendly, loving and active self. She does appear to have allergies and is now on Duck and Pea dry and canned food. Amazing girl and will need a home that understands the Abyssinian personality because she will be always in your face and on top of whatever needs help with.

November 28 Update: Angel still is having soft stools and a bit of diarrhea, but is definitely getting better. Probably a month before she can go home. She is the shoulder sitter of the group and is in your face and wants to be there to supervise everything that is going on. Typical Abyssinian: a wonderful, active, get into everything girl. Her eyes are bright and her coat is soft and filling in well. What a difference from the very sick girl that came into rescue.

In spite of raging diarrhea with the red swollen butt probably the worse of the group of cats, she is always welcoming and loving and friendly. Amazing when you think of all she has been through. This petite girl weighed 4lbs coming into rescue, had a very thin coat and treatable skin conditions. She is now 5 ½ lbs and doing much better but it will probably be at least a month before she is past this.
